Within the meditation on loving kindness
In doing Meditation On Loving-Kindness, the meditator concentrates on
the Crown and Heart chakras while the hands are raised forwards with
the intention of radiating the compassionate healing energy of Buddha
Kwan Yin, and simultaneously chanting the mantra "Om Mani Padme Hum".
"Om Mani Padme Hum" is the mantra of mercy and compassion.
To experience one's Buddha Nature, it is necessary to
activate the Crown chakra, which is the center of universal love,
universal compassion and illumination. The Heart chakra is the center
of human love, the emotional heart. The Crown chakra can only be
sufficiently activated when the Heart chakras has been sufficiently
activated first.
When a person does the Meditation On Loving-kindness, divine energy
flows down, filling the meditator with divine light, love, and power.
The meditator becomes a channel of this divine energy. In Taoist Yoga,
this divine energy is call "Tian Chi". Christians call this the
"descent of the Holy Spirit", which is symbolized by a pillar of light
with a descending dove. Spiritual aspirants who have practiced this
meditation for quite some time may experience being enveloped by
dazzling, sometimes blinding light.
Due to space constraints only a short excerpt of the meditation is
included, you should be able to feel the tremendous energy generated
when you try it. For the full version, please refer to GrandMaster Choa
Kok Sui's book "Om Mani Padme Hum, The Blue Pearl in the Golden Lotus".
Here are the steps:
1. Do physical exercises to prepare the body for the downpouring of spiritual energies.
2. Face East and Invoke for Divine Blessings
3. Connect your tongue to the palate- this is to increase the energy level of the meditator.
4. Concentrate on your Heart chakra
5. Raise your hands at chest level with palms facing outwards, visualize a small Earth the
size of a small ball in front of your hands.
6. Silently or verbally recite the following Prayer of Compassion and Blessings as you direct the
energies to the entire Earth:
May all sentient beings in the higher world,
in the middle world, in the lower world,
in all eight directions, above and below,
be blessed by the Universal Supreme Being,
by Buddha Shakyamuni
by Buddha Kwan Yin
by Boddhisattva Mei Ling
by all the Buddhas and Boddhisattvas.
May all sentient beings be soothed
of their pain, sorrow and suffering.
May all sentient beings be blessed
with good health, happiness, spirituality,
illumination, abundance and prosperity.
May the heart of all sentient beings be blessed
with divine love, with warmness,
sweetness and compassion for all.
May the will of all sentient beings be blessed
with divine power, with inner strength
to do what is right and to refrain from
unwholesome actions and behaviors.
7. Chant the mantra seven times compassionately: Om Mani Padme Hum...
8. Repeat steps #5-#7 while concentrating on the Crown chakra
9. Repeat #5-#7 while concentrating on both the Heart and the Crown chakras
10. Put your hands down and visualize a brilliant point of flame of "white" light on
top of your head. Simultaneously chant silently "OM" ,then be still and aware for 30 seconds.
Repeat chanting and stillness seven times....
11. To release the excess divine energy, you can raise your hands with palms facing outwards
and bless the Earth and your loved ones with divine love, mercy and compassion....
12. Do some physical exercises to assimilate the Spiritual Energies into your bodies.
The Meditation on Loving-Kindness generates a downpouring of Spiritual
Light, Love and Power. You can use these Divine Energies for healing
yourself and others, as we do in Pranic Healing. You can also use them
to bless others and to bless your projects and goals with success and
fruitful manifestation.
