With the demands of life seeming to increase or speed
up, we must find a way to not just keep our sanity and peace, but
thrive as well.

It’s our responses to tension and stress that influences our level of emotional, mental and physical health. We have discussed healing stress, yet that’s only part of the story. If you’ve ever asked yourself, “What did I do to deserve this?” (whatever “this” may be), you may want to address your subconscious mind directly. The subconscious holds the key to our behavior and why we attract certain kinds of experiences.
The faster life moves, the more challenges it brings. Opportunities to be triggered increase. If we remain aware and avoid getting sucked into the vortex (sometimes that’s what it feels like), we can discover a great deal about ourselves, including our negative behavior patterns. It’s possible to become overwhelmed when dealing with multiple issues at once. After remembering to take a breath, check in with your subconscious mind. Perhaps do a meditation, as this is also a good reason to sit and be present with yourself, in this moment.
After energetically clearing your space, create a sacred space. Perhaps light a blue and/or white candle, or sage the area. As you get ready to meditate, remember intention is ninety-nine percent of this work. Strongly intend to dialog only with your subconscious mind. As you close your eyes and breathe, ask to drop into the correct trance state to contact the subconscious. You will do so automatically. When you feel or intuit that you’re ready, take your time and address the subconscious mind directly and ask your question.
The subconscious contains information needed to shift behavior patterns and subsequently change our life. You may want to know the lesson behind a certain event. Other topics can relate to whether various courses of action are correct and aligned with you or what you need to prioritize.
Additionally, as Santosha Nobel writes in her Reimaging™ book, “Subconscious material is stored as subtle, dream-like imagery, sound and/or sensorial material. Considered by many to be the root cause of most personal problems, its contents seem to come primarily from our past. The subconscious is also very involved with our moment-to-moment reactions to life situations.” I’ve noticed my subconscious speaks to me through songs that suddenly sing in my head. Each song has a meaning or message of import the subconscious wants to get through to me. If we pay attention to and deliberately seek out the assistance of our subconscious mind, we can unlock some mysteries in ourselves and move forward on our path more empowered.
