Challenges––Tools for turning life's problems into positive experiences

Sometimes
all it takes is a
little shift in
perception

Being human can genuinely be a “challenging” proposition! We all struggle with burdens, obstacles, hardships and pain at various times throughout our lives. Sometimes all it takes is a little shift in perception to bring about positive changes and a fresh, new direction. “CHALLENGES” is an acronym I developed to help create positive shifts in our lives. The following are some tools which may prove useful the next time you are presented with a difficult situation.

“C” is for “change.” No matter how dire the circumstances may seem, change is always possible. Turn painful situations into powerful learning tools by shifting your perception. Think about how you can grow from each challenging experience placed in your path.

“H” is for “humble heart.” Coming from a humble heart can make a world of difference, in your life and in the lives of all with whom you cross paths. Humility is a virtue worth achieving, and will open the door to unexpected blessings.

“A” is for “answers.” Answers come to those who seek honesty, truth and positive change. Ask your angels and spiritual guides to assist you when the obstacles feel overwhelming. You will be provided with direction and answers to help you choose your course wisely.

“L” is for “lessons.” Understand your soul chose to come to earth for the unique lessons, opportunities and karma which are part of experiencing life as a human.

“L” is for “life choices.” Replace the “i” in the word “bitter” with an “e” . . .and you get “better.” Strive to make loving choices from the heart, and you can’t help but be “better.”

“E” is for “enrichment.” Shifting our troubles, burdens and pain into fulfilling experiences will result in blessings which serve to enrich our lives and renew our spirits.

“N” is for “nature.” Being outside in nature is very healing, and promotes peace, joy and serenity. Take at least a few moments every day to simply “be” outdoors. Bask in the glory of the trees, plants and flowers; listen to the music of the birds; absorb nutritional Vitamin D through the warm rays of sunshine; go barefoot in the grass and connect with Mother Earth.

“G” is for “growth.” Difficult experiences provide opportunities for tremendous spiritual growth. If you truly take to heart the lessons learned, you cannot help but be strengthened and grow.

“E” is for “enlightenment.” Each obstacle you successfully overcome brings you one step closer to spiritual bliss. Unconditional love is at the core of true enlightenment.

“S” is for “smile!” You’re on karmic camera!
