Is there anything about your pet’s behavior which perplexes you? Would you find it helpful to know if your beloved animals have concerns or health issues of which you are unaware? For quite a few years, I have been doing spiritual work: clairvoyant readings, dream analysis and Reiki healings for human beings. I enjoy my avocation tremendously, and find working with people extremely rewarding and fulfilling. Yet in recent months, I have been astonished to receive a series of dreams, messages and visions which have made it abundantly clear that the time has arrived to expand my experience to include working with animals, as well.
One poignant situation, which recently occurred, illustrates there are situations where deeper communication with our pets can be very valuable. A friend of mine called to ask if I would do a spiritual cleansing of her horse Hashimi’s stall, as he was behaving strangely and she thought there might be something bothering him at the stable. The very next morning, I awoke with severe dizziness and had difficulty walking. I went back to bed hoping the lightheadedness would subside, yet when I arose an hour later I was still quite dizzy and unbalanced.
As I am someone who rarely becomes sick––and have not had a flu type illness in many years––I knew I was not actually physically ill. It came to me intuitively that I was experiencing, in a clairsentient manner, something my friend’s horse Hashimi was going through. As soon as I attributed the dizziness to the horse, it instantly stopped and my normal balance returned. I sensed Hashimi was sick and frightened; he required healing, rather than having a spiritual cleansing of his stall.
When my friend called, I asked if Hashimi had experienced dizziness, and she said yes – he had been falling down and was not at all himself. We quickly altered our plans and decided to meet in a few hours at the stables, where I would perform hands-on healing for her dear horse. I immediately said some prayers for both my friend and Hashimi, as she was so worried about him. In the interim, the veterinarian arrived and discovered a tumor had burst inside Hashimi, releasing deadly toxins into his body. Sadly, the vet decided that Hashimi must be immediately put down.
Although I was not able to get to my friend’s beloved horse in time to perform healing, I believe our prayers assisted him to pass on swiftly and make a smooth transition to the spiritual realm. In a subsequent session, we were able to communicate with Hashimi’s spirit and see that he is free and at peace in a beautiful, spiritual pasture. His presence continues to be strongly felt by my friend, even though he has physically moved on.
So, what can you do if your own pet is behaving strangely or differently than usual? A dear colleague of mine, Bernadette Hileman, is a gifted clairvoyant and animal communicator. She conducts workshops and teaches people how to better understand their pets. Bernadette instructs that animals are able to send and receive messages, via mental pictures. The communication is telepathic and involves scenes or pictures in our minds, rather than verbal words. Try this yourself the next time you wish to convey something to your animal friend. Develop a clear picture in your mind of what you wish them to know, and send your pet that visualization telepathically, rather than simply speaking to them. Take note of their reaction, and see if perhaps you don’t get more positive results this way, rather than just talking to your animals verbally and expecting them to understand you!
Animals are creatures of spirit, just as we humans are. Although they do not speak in our language, they definitely have ways to communicate with us. We have only to learn how to open ourselves to receive their messages.
