Celestial Visits: Heaven is in Your Dreams

have gone before us.

As human beings, it is quite natural to have fears and questions about what occurs after we pass from this physical existence. In addition to wondering about our own fate, we yearn to know what happens to the friends and loved ones who have gone before us. A young lady, I will call Edie, contacted me shortly after the death of her mother. She began receiving a series of dreams soon after her beloved mother, whom I will call Martha, passed on––including the following intriguing and illustrative visitation.

In this particular dream experience, Edie walked into an enormous mansion with her small son in tow. Everything she saw around her was in a rich, light colored wood––walls, ceilings and furniture. A large, brightly lit chandelier hung from the ceiling. The room was filled with people and there were two staircases with banisters on either side of the foyer entryway. Edie ventured up the right staircase, and when she arrived at the last step all of the people disappeared. Her young son charged off down a long hallway and ran into one of several doorways. Edie followed him into a room, and noticed everything was again in the same light colored wood as in the entryway of the mansion.

Edie called for her son to come out, and they walked out of the room together, heading for the stairway. Turning the corner, she glanced down the stairs and saw that her mother was halfway up the steps heading directly toward them. Edie’s mother was laughing and attempting to play with her little grandson. She looked astonishingly beautiful to her amazed daughter. As Edie headed down the stairs and moved toward her mother for an embrace, Martha pulled back and went down two steps. Edie was worried she would scare her away by continuing to approach, so she stopped moving.

Edie spoke to her mother and said, “Please mom, don’t pull away from us.” All three of them stood frozen in place. Martha replied, “Oh my God. I don’t want you guys to be afraid.” She then stepped forward, staring into her daughter’s eyes and holding her hands. Edie was able to feel her mother’s skin and smell her perfume. She noticed her nails were painted in the rich, red polish which she had always loved when alive. Martha continued to caress Edie’s hands and gaze at her. Edie’s mother wore a bright, dark pink dress which was covered with sparkling sequins. She was absolutely glowing and was not wearing her glasses.

Edie’s little boy reached his hand up and said he wanted to touch Grandma’s hand too. Martha then grasped her grandson’s hand, at which point Edie woke up from the dream. Edie awakened from the dream, emotionally overcome and sobbing uncontrollably.

Prior to the dream visit, Edie had been experiencing some anxiety, wishing for the comfort and knowledge that her mother had truly gone to Heaven when she passed on. Martha presented herself in an extremely colorful and vibrant form so her daughter would know how well she was doing in her new abode. Martha was indeed in a heavenly, magical place as exhibited by the beautiful mansion with the shimmering chandelier; she was very excited to share this with Edie. Martha was wearing pink – which is the color associated with the heart chakra energy center and represents love. Martha came to Edie in pure love during this dream visit, as confirmed by the sparkling pink dress.

Martha visited Edie several times after she passed on in order to let her family know she was still there for them, and that she was doing well. Although this particular experience arrived in the form of a dream, Edie may in actuality have been the one to travel. While her body slept, Edie’s angels and spirit guides quite likely escorted her on a special astral voyage to see the extraordinary place where her mother now dwells. In our physical human forms we are not able to travel to these other dimensions, but in our dream state many things can and do happen.

Having been given this magical glimpse into Heaven, Edie emerged with a new perspective as to what life is like after our physical existence comes to an end. She also received answers to questions she had about where her mother went after her passing. This dream journey served to broaden Edie’s awareness into the wonders of the spiritual realm. Perhaps her experience will also serve to help you allay fears and questions you may hold about the afterlife. May it also provide some insight into the type of existence your loved ones––already on the other side––may be experiencing in the extraordinarily lovely place to which we will all one day travel.
