Ask An Angel: The Divine Purpose of Fear

you carry in your
consciousness.

Angel of Fear / Love: We present fear in this message because it has such a presence in controlling your subconscious, your consciousness, your health, your field of perception and your place of beingness in relation to each other.

Fear is one of many forms of guidance given to direct your awareness. Fundamentally, it serves as a touchstone for your awareness to protect you at the level of physical survival; stimulus/response. We are speaking now simply in the biological terms of your physical body and its need for alertness to self-preservation.

The consciousness in the human form was intended to be evolved far beyond this primitive biological level of stimulus and response. The current level of fear in your own being determines the nature and the quality of the consciousness you carry––and, above all, the quantity of love you carry. This ratio is part of universal law, part of universal love. This fear is given as a blessing to carry your consciousness through the evolution necessary to release level after level of fear and survival consciousness...the process of entering into victim consciousness, of feeling the pain, the hurt, the disappointment, the betrayal is an integral part of consciousness rising above fear.

In this process, the victim names his or her fears. This pertains to all forms of violence––judgments, criticisms, projections, words, actions, or thoughts.

By naming it, you carry it into your awareness.The level, magnitude and duration of the pain is again directly proportional to your willingness to engage your consciousness in identifying the fear you carry. We suggest you set a very low threshold for carrying fears into your awareness. A very low level, for example, could be something that simply disturbs your sense of peace, then what serves you shall be relatively mild, relatively easy to carry into your awareness.

We realize this is a step beyond the place of consciousness held by most individuals at the moment. The level of consciousness around you has absolutely no bearing on your ability to liberate yourself from the need for a high fear threshold.

Notice any argument arising within you, any insistence upon how this is not practical, not doable, because of …. (you fill in the blank), for you have just named one or more of your fears.

We are calling upon you directly to assume a place of greater responsibility for what you carry in your consciousness. We most strongly encourage you to be willing to constantly comb through your awareness whenever your equilibrium is disturbed. The natural feeling of an open and innocent heart, of embracing the day with love and enthusiasm is the natural state of equilibrium for humans. The essential qualities of being human are love first, being in love constantly, trust, openness, innocence. The natural consequences of this are honesty, trustworthiness, friendship, confidence, ease of beingness, and the list goes on.

You may not be experiencing these noble qualities throughout the majority of your day, and yet this is the intention you are drawn towards in every moment, in every opportunity. This is the place you know as home within yourself. This is the exalted form of your soul in your body.

Again, simply allow the examples of victimization you are aware of around you. All of these places carry a message for you. All of these places carry the call for attention and action that will carry you more deeply into the consciousness of a loving, caring, sincere being.
