...simply shift
your focus away
from things
(the world
of effects)
to their underlying
spiritual Source...

Some traditional teachings about material abundance have tended to arouse confusion and have all but shrouded many of us with a sense of guilt for demonstrating too much opulence in our lives. But what is true, is that the Universe gives us as much as we are able to consciously handle. There is no limit to how much good one can enjoy. It is the individual alone who imposes the limitations on how much good they can have. Those whose fortunes have placed them in the position of demonstrating material abundance have often been cast as the “rich,” who will find it more difficult to enter the kingdom of heaven than for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle (an erroneous interpretation of Bible scripture).

What was intended in this teaching, was for you to simply shift your focus away from things (the world of effects) to their underlying spiritual Source and from an emphasis on acquiring to an awareness of themselves, as an instrument in service to humanity––as a facilitator of the divine flow of good.

The fact that the student of Truth––one whose spiritual practice is in agreement with universal law––demonstrates more good, is an indication that he or she has found the Source and is aware of their connection to it. To them, the things in their lives are the by products of a life that is lived from its spiritual center and that is based in the right use of spiritual law. They operate from a sense of union, wherein they know that both the source and supply of their good is Universal, is ever available, and is always within them. This being true––hoarding becomes unnecessary. The good actualized in their lives, is evidence of an intimate knowledge of this Truth. They have discovered the value of gratitude and the offering of “thanks” from the heart. This very act is the realization that they are one with the universal flow of good.
These students know that the law which governs the Universe can only say, “Yes”.

It even responds in complete agreement with those convinced of their own lack, limitation, or impoverishment. The spiritual Power that works to produce good cannot work through the ingratitude of the person convinced of his own lack, limitation, or impoverishment. That individual’s experience tends to mirror his mental outlook.
The student of truth practices blessing all that is given and, in doing so, creates a space in consciousness to experience more good.
