Body in Balance: the electrical, chemical and emotional machine.

Body in BalanceFor a person to be truly healthy there has to be a balance of all three sides of the Triangle of Health.  The human body is an electrical, chemical and emotional machine.  When any of these three elements (structure, nutrition-chemistry, or mental-emotions) are out of balance, the health of your body will be negatively affected. STRUCTURE:  Your body is an electrical machine and your nervous system is the electrical system of your body.  The nerves are the electrical wires and these nerves send electricity to every cell, muscle, gland and organ in your body.  Good electrical flow through the nervous system supplies the energy needed for every cell, muscle, gland and organ to function   properly.  When you are injured by a trauma, such as falls, auto accidents, lifting injuries, sports injuries or excessive stress, these injuries affect the nerves and interfere with the  electrical flow in the body.  When there is a decrease of energy, the cells, muscles, glands and organs cannot function properly.  Over time these improperly functioning cells, muscles, glands and organs weaken, leading to sickness and disease.

Chiropractic, massage, kinesiology and other forms of bodywork can correct these   interferences, allowing the body's electrical system (energy) to flow at maximum capacity.

NUTRITION:  Nutritional deficiencies and food allergies weaken your electrical (energy) system,  compromising your health.  Remember our bodies are electro-chemical plants.  The foods we eat break down into nutrients and the body uses these nutrients to make chemicals.

When we eat something we are allergic to, it weakens the flow of electricity through our bodies.  The most common food allergens are sugar, milk, and wheat.  Eating foods containing these ingredients can overburden the electrical system inhibiting our body's performance.

Conversely, if we eat good foods such as vegetables, fruits, protein, whole grains, nuts and seeds, we strengthen our body's performance.

Most people take vitamin supplements to stay healthy.  However, most vitamins found in stores are synthetics. The prolonged use of synthetic  vitamins can create rebound imbalances and other nutritional deficiencies, thus defeating their   purpose. The best supplements are made from whole food sources, because they are made from organically grown plants. These plants are then juiced, dehydrated, concentrated and made into capsules or tablets.

An excellent way to determine the nutritional status of the body is with Contact Reflex Analysis (CRA). This technique uses muscle testing (kinesiology) to analyze the body's   various acupuncture points to determine the strengths and weaknesses of the body.  Think of your body as an electrical machine with circuit breakers.  Through muscle testing we can   determine which circuits are weak and which are strong.  This information allows us to design an individualized nutritional program to correct the specific weaknesses.

MENTAL-EMOTIONS: Researchers have demonstrated that our emotions affect our bodies in a physiological way by creating biochemicals that travel to every cell in the body.  The ancient acupuncturists correlated emotions to specific organs in our bodies.  For   example, the emotions of fear and dread can weaken the kidneys, anger and resentment can weaken the liver and grief and sadness can weaken the lungs, etc.

Normally, a person can have an emotional trauma, experience the emotion and release the event with no adverse affects on the body.  However, if a person is structurally weak or  nutritionally deficient, the person is vulnerable and the emotional trauma can lodge itself in the body, further depleting the body's health.

These emotional events are called N.E.C.'s (Neuro - Emotional Complexes). When an emotional event gets locked into our   nervous system as a Neuro-Emotional-Complex (N.E.C), it can create a specific weakness in a muscle, gland or organ, depleting the body of energy eventually leading to disease.

The N.E.T. practitioner uses muscle testing of various acupuncture reflex points and semantic responses (physical reactions to words or memories) to assist and guide you in  recalling specific negative emotions and when they first occurred.  This engages specific neuro-emotional patterns, much as a computer operator engages a specific program on a computer screen. While mentally holding the memory of the emotional event, the N.E.T. practitioner releases the N.E.C.  The emotion now loses its negative impact or charge on the body. When an N.E.C. is eliminated, the nervous system can function better.

To stay healthy, the Triangle of Health, the structural, nutritional and emotional aspects of our bodies must be in balance.
