Publishers Description: We all have fears, but when we look closely at them, we discover that behind each fear resides a basic fear of ourselves. We’re afraid to look at our habitual styles of thinking and behaving because we might not always like what we see. Ironically it is this fear of honest self-reflection that keeps us trapped in patterns of stress and discontentment. Here is a vision for moving beyond this most basic fear to discover the innate bravery, trust, and joy that reside at the core of our being.
You may have never heard of Craniosacral Therapy, or maybe you’ve heard about it and are wondering what it is, or why you’d want to experience it. You might be surprised to learn that this modality has some unique and valuable ways of addressing the body/mind/spirit that can bring about lasting changes for those who experience it.
Craniosacral Therapy is a modality with roots in Osteopathy, a uniquely American form of Alternative Medicine. Craniosacral Therapy uses light-touch techniques to correct and balance the fluid and membrane system that surrounds and protects our body’s central nervous system. This fluid and membrane system is your body’s craniosacral system.
"We can deny everything, except that we have the possibility of being better."
~ The Dalai Lama
We lament over our faults and shortcomings. We stress over all those things that don't turn out the way we would like. Yet, so long as we can remain open to the possibility that we can become better, we have the opportunity to grow and learn from our shortcomings and sufferings, becoming wiser, more joyful human beings as a result.
What you think of as your weaknesses are, most likely, blessings in disguise. Embrace your weaknesses. Be grateful for them. Turn them into your greatest strengths. Allow them to teach you - to transform yourself into a better being.

Well the shift is here and you've probably noticed that it's all speeded up. The energy is moving through you, or at least it's trying. When it hits an obstacle and you can't get it through, it pushes the obstacle right to the surface of your consciousness. Are you may be feeling more pain, anger, argumentative, dizzy, unfocused, lethargic, purposeless, etc. That's it. It's the shift and it's bringing up your "sh--t". Everything is up for processing and hopefully uses this period to release.
So what's the shift and why is it doing that? People have been talking about this December 21st, 2012, end date of the Mayan Calendar for quite some time. Well the world didn't end, obviously, but something's different. This is serious, so I'm going to try and give you a simple explaination in the short space of this article.
You're probably aware of astrology and how the planets are moving in and about certain constellations and that causes shifts in the physical world. The reason that it works that way is because the entire universe is composed of one energy that radiates from the center of the universe through all the galaxies, through the Milky Way, the solar system, planet earth and finally right through the top of you, through your body and into the earth.
Incredible Moments
-- Nancy Rascon --
Editor's Note:
Nancy has taken breathtakingly beautiful photographs and applied inspirational quotations to them that affect us at a very deep level. She also talks about the photos and what moved her to take the photo plus some words about why the quotation was attached to it. I was so impressed with her work that I decided to begin publishing these in The Messenger. We will be publishing these each month until she decides to stop sending them.
Namaste,

My Passion for Photography
Nancy Rascon
Photography is one of my passions. I love to capture incredible moments in time, as life unfolds in such spectacular ways. In every moment, all beings and each event is unique and full of spirit. I find myself in The Now, as I take pictures, appreciating what is right in front of me.
Recently, I have been strongly guided by spirit to include famous quotes with many of my photos. My soul feels that the depth of my pictures enhance the messages in the quotes, and in turn, the words illuminate the photos. As I gaze or meditate on these two beauties coming together, intuitive inspirations tend to blossom within me. My hope and prayer is that others will experience that same bliss from my work.
