Curling around me, as I sit beside the fire that luminates
off the round softness of black, making me think.
My mind, calm, but aware of the touch and presence of nature, mulling in my head.
Do we really know
We think we know
Hunger is a strong need for food
I might have an idea as most
Based on not eating when I want
Do we really know
I’m only passing by, not through, just by.
And as I observe you, I see the tragedy of
being within and the desperation of being
on the without….
"Within each of us is a portal to
another dimension.
A hidden world of Inner Wisdom, buried treasure,
and monsters zealously guarding such.
These monsters have names like "shame", "self~loathing",
"unforgiveness" and "fear".
