I met a sweet man that is so very gentle,
I wonder if the gentleness I see is physical or mental.
The touch of his hand sends shivers through me,
It colors my world and all that I see.
When he lies close to me, the very scent of him,
Sends me into an ecstasy that makes my mind go dim.
My senses heighten to meet his challenge and touch,
A soul stands erect,
Awaiting a rite of passage
Colliding,
A black and white world transforms
Awakening a prism of vibrant hues
In a universal heartbeat,
A paradigm's past unveils an epiphany
Revealing an inner world of divine wisdom
My Spiritual Journey
My journey has been an intriguing
experience and an interesting trip,
From youth to age I have weathered
my travels aboard my ship.
It began when I was young and
was told what I was to believe,
As I grew older, I had to learn
Life is like the sea, it can be peaceful, or it can be rough and rocky.
The tides of life lift me up to the heights of jubilation, and drop me down to the depths of despair.
I traveled in a little boat they call the body, that was fortunate enough to meet his craft.
For a while the breezes blew us together softly.
We weathered storms and hurricanes in our path as we traveled together, but we could not weather the feared shadow of death.
Death came as a riptide, taking him to the fathoms of the deep.
