The Time of Profound Change

The period of 2010 through 2016 is going to bring dramatic change in the way we live our lives. Everyone talks about 2012, but this year, 2010 is the real pivotal year that will activate the transformations of the people of Earth. By the end of 2016, nearly everyone will be different in major ways. I say nearly, because, "Never is never true, always is always wrong, and everyone is always never true."

The planets have gathered in configurations designed to help us wake up to our "family of human," and consider our global connectedness. Hopefully, enough of us will reawaken to our loving, creative selves and understand that we can all live in peace. Whether world peace actually will break out is unknown, but there will be a stronger and stronger urge to work toward it in reality instead of only philosophically.

In June, July, and August of 2010, there are configurations, called "T Squares" of Pluto, Uranus, and Saturn. Then in July and early August, add Moon, Mars, Jupiter, to Saturn, Uranus, and Pluto. This is a powerful party going on. Plus they are in what is called "Cardinal" signs -- cornerstones, pivotal energy.

If you have access to a calculated horoscope, look to see if you have any planets or cusps in Pisces, Gemini, Virgo, or Sagittarius close to 24 degrees. Also look for Aries, Cancer, Libra, or Capricorn close to 11 degrees. This means that you will be dramatically affected by this transformational energy.

If you have Aries, Cancer, Libra, or Capricorn from around 7 degrees through 15 degrees, expect seven initiatory periods from June 2012 through March 2016.

Even if you don't know the details of your personal chart, expect these T-Squares to whack you over the head. Whether this is a welcome "whack" or not depends on how ready you are to let go of limitations and raise your consciousness level.

By the end of this year, most of the world will know that times are changing and that the old way of doing things, both personally and globally don't work. The powers of creativity, cooperation, and peaceful vision will be the driving force to dissipate the darkness of greed and self-serving principles. But, don't expect this to come without a struggle. You can see it now in the U.S. Congress. The old guard is holding on to the traditional way of doing business, those ready for a better world are fighting for change.

So, as Gandhi said, "Be the change you want to see in the world."
 

• ARIES: MAR 21 – APR 19
Early month, Early month, Mars is kicking up your impatience and you might find irritation as well when Pluto and Jupiter sensitize your sense of independence. Overreaction is likely in the face of any opposition.

By the 6th, Venus in Libra hits your serious love house and Uranus joins on the 7th. Love is on your mind, but Uranus is unstable and nothing is happening the way you want it to. By the 10th, things settle down thanks to the Leo New Moon, Jupiter and Saturn.

Mid month, Uranus turns backward into Pisces and your house of inner reflection and spirituality (12th) gives you deep awareness about relationships that let you know what you need to work on for you to find lasting happiness.

Late Month, Pluto and Venus with Mars again address relationship issues. Now, you are ready to start acting on reorganizing your inner self to be open for a positive, or more positive partnership. Much of this has to do with your issues about power and control.

Tarot:  Five of Cups. Fives are numbers of risk, change, and turning points. This card shows a man looking too hard at what's wrong and not hard enough at what's right. Turn around and focus on resources, the future, and your ability to move out of the past.


• TAURUS: APR 20 – MAY 20
Early month, Mars squares Pluto and Jupiter that can cause small issues to erupt into big issues in your mind. Disagreements and quarrels are likely unless you take a deep breath and examine what you are feeling before speaking or acting. Fortunately Venus and Neptune help you do that, but they also up your emotional nature and you are likely to take things to heart more than usual.

Mid month, Mars and Venus are in a tense relationship with the Lunar Nodes causing you to rethink whether pleasing others is really the best idea if it's not for your highest good. Neptune also steps in to bring some promises that are not what they seem. Step cautiously here.

Late month, The Sun moves into your creative and risky 5th house letting you express yourself in new ways. The Full Moon in Pisces adds a depth to your emotions and your creative streak. It is in your 11th house, so others will also notice your endeavors. However, the Sun is there to make you a bit over sensitive to criticism, so don't let little disagreements or slights spoil your golden moment. By the 24th, the Sun and Pluto restore your confidence and clear headed thinking.

Tarot: Ace of Cups. Cups are the element of water and always hold a promise and an opportunity. The Ace of cups promises love, peace, and spiritual connectedness.


• GEMINI: MAY 21 – JUN 21
Early month, Mars and Jupiter play with Pluto to help you understand what needs to be adjusted in your life. Jupiter in your 11th house has you on top of your game when it comes to organization and group dynamics. Be careful, however in your drive to make things better, that you don't step on ego toes. Be diplomatic. By the 6th, Venus in your 5th house of creativity, romance, and risk has you looking to put more sparkle in your love life. Uranus and Saturn come in to give you a push pull about that very subject. Attraction and common sense don't often play well together.

Mid month, things that you thought were dealt with and over may resurface as Uranus goes back into your 10th house of career. Saturn and Jupiter have you wanting to push forward but coming up against delays and obstacles, especially at work. In love, Saturn and Jupiter are attracting mixed signals from your partner or someone you are pursuing. Just wait a while and things will settle down.

Late month, All the push/pull forces are still at work but now Mercury steps in as it goes retrograde on the 20th. Pay close attention to detail and double check everything before you make any decision. Saturn is in your 5th house of creativity, romance, and risk squaring Pluto on the 21st. This means that important decisions will have to be made. Just think it over twice, check and double check before committing to a decision or course of action.

Tarot: 8 of Cups. This card shows a man moving away from a wall of cups. If you know you are in the wrong place, with the wrong person, or at the wrong job. Now is the time to do something about it. Don't wait until you are beaten down so much that you have no strength left to break away. Do it NOW. Avoidance will only make matters worse.


• CANCER: JUN 22 – JUL 22
Early month, Jupiter and Pluto opens you up to power struggles, either with other people or within as you try to deal with unwanted emotional patterns. Mars faces Jupiter and squares Pluto on the 4th, this means that any inner struggle will be reflected in the people around you. Tempers may fly. It's a signal to examine and maybe let go of old ideas and beliefs that no longer serve you.

By the 7th the Sun and Venus team with Uranus bringing unexpected changes, uninvited visitors, and surprises all around. You might feel a little off balance now and be somewhat reactionary. With Venus and Jupiter interacting with Pluto, personal issues could come to a peak. It's time to do some personal work on what you have been NOT looking at in your life.

Mid month, Mars, Venus, the Sun, and Neptune have you looking at the world through starry eyes. It may feel good, but you might make some foolish decisions unless you turn to someone trustworthy to tell you the bare truth. By the 20th, the Venus Mars connection could bring opportunities for some fun with a friend. Pluto moves in to push the "clean up your life or else" issue though. Time for some emotional closet cleaning.

Late month, The Sun in Virgo in your 3rd house of communication brings you back into focus with a sharp mind and clear thinking. However, watch out because Mercury is retrograde and could mess up the details of anything you do. Take care and communicate clearly. Check details, then check again. The Full Moon in Pisces on the 24th has you wanting to get away, learn something new, have an adventure. Go ahead, you deserve it.

• LEO: JUL 23 – AUG 22
Early month, Jupiter and Pluto give you drive and ambition, but not the patience and clear headedness needed too. You might be tempted to bulldoze your way through without considering how it impacts the others in your life. Take a step back and look at the big picture. Venus in Libra with Uranus and Saturn, team with Jupiter and Pluto. This is a confusing group that has you searching for the "thing" that will make you happy or be the ultimate experience, only to find out that it wasn't the "thing" after all. When the Leo New Moon happens on the 9th, your emotional nature intensifies and you might be thinking about drastic change in your life. This might be just the thing, but wait a while until later in the month when you are thinking more clearly.

Mid month, Uranus in Pisces in your 8th house of sharing and intimacy bring surprises in that department. Opportunities for sharing well might come knocking at your door. This combination of planets lasts until March 2011, so you have plenty of time to perfect this skill. Emotional "ahas" are also on the horizon for you, especially in the realms of communication. It's a good time for serious talks as Saturn and Jupiter oppose each other from your 3rd house of communication.

Late month, the Sun and Neptune oppose each other as Mercury turns retrograde on the 20th. Plans won't go as you like and you will probably have to rethink or rearrange your life. Don't give into Saturn and Pluto as they urge you to stubbornly hold onto opinions and ideas that clearly are not going to work. Let it go and practice flexibility.

The Pisces Full Moon on the 24th is a peak. If you have done your personal work on changing what doesn't work for you, life will open up an d be much easier. It's about communication and letting go of past bugaboos.

Tarot: 5 of Swords. Swords are about the mind, thinking, logic, ideas. It is what we think that creates our actions. You may win, but there will be a cost. Rethink being right at any cost. Rethink winning. It may not be worth it.


• VIRGO: AUG 23 – SEPT 22
Early month, Jupiter and Pluto pay havoc with your patience. Mars also fights with Jupiter and Pluto to bring out the stubborn streak in you. You will have to be conscious of a need for tact and diplomacy. By the 7th Venus goes into your 2nd house of resources and faces Uranus. You will likely find something that you MUST buy. Think it over carefully so you don't regret it later. By the 10th, Pluto is making you prickly and you might overreact to people with imagined insults or slights. Again, take it easy and remember that it is just the planets talking, giving you an opportunity for more self-awareness.

Mid month, The Sun opposes Neptune and plays with Venus and Mars. Time to have fun. Go on a vacation and just indulge yourself. Best make plans before the 20th because that's when Mercury goes retrograde and causes a lot of little confusions. After that, let go and enjoy.

Late month, The Sun goes into Virgo giving you a shot of energy and confidence. But, Mercury is still retrograde in your sign so you will have to think and act carefully to avoid mistakes. This is also a good time to start a new health program and focus on improving your vitality and well-being.

• LIBRA: SEPT 23 - OCT 22
Early month, Jupiter and Pluto impact your 7th house of serious relationships. Watch for power struggles and just enjoy the emotional intensity. Love is definitely possible when Venus and Uranus land in your 7th house, especially because Venus is also connected to Saturn of the serious mind. The Leo New Moon makes it easy to express yourself to a special person opens your heart to possibilities. This is a time of emotional enrichment.

Mid month, on the 16th, Jupiter and Saturn give you the tug-o-war treatment as you are wanting to move ahead and expand, but Saturn puts up roadblocks and delays. This is a period of self-transformation and positive change, no matter how much you bitch and snivel about it.

• SCORPIO: OCT 23 – NOV 21
Early month, Jupiter and Pluto are challenged by Mars so you can expect tempers to flair and opposing opinions that get your hackles raised. Mars is fortunately in Libra in your 12th house giving you an opportunity to work on personal emotional issues for more equilibrium and better ways to express your feelings. Venus opposes Jupiter on the 9th along with the Leo New Moon. It's time to indulge yourself in something that pleases you to your toes. Venus squares Pluto on the 10th giving you opportunities to practice compassion, for others and yourself.

Mid month, Venus and Mars square the Moon's Nodes offering you ways to develop more wisdom and diplomacy skills. On the 20th, Sun and Neptune attract people who promise a lot and deliver a little, so be cautious.

Late month, Sun and Pluto bring you a strong focus on getting what you really want out of life. This is the right time to impress the right people to help you along your way. Resources should increase and things will get moving in the right direction.

The planets are giving you the chance to make a difference on important issues, just be sure you don't waste it on "the small stuff." Saturn comes in on the 8th to help stabilize but the New Moon in Leo on the 9th adds to the roller coaster ride of emotions.
