For years I have successfully used a model for choosing potency that is based on the structures within the vital force—structures I call energy bodies. The energy bodies are bands that make up the visible aura of the individual and regulate function of the physical body. Energies bodies are not a new concept. The energy structures that control the physical body are mentioned in many writings, including all sacred scripture and even in the Edgar Casey materials (reading 3102-P-1). Samuel Hahnemann, the founder of homeopathy, called these energy structures “Vital Force”. You may have been working with them for years, but have called them by other names. Basically, there are ten energy bands that animate and control every function of this mass of minerals, fluids and tissues we call the human body. Where energy bodies are present, there is life. When there is no life, there is no energy body present. If any structure within the energy body is not functioning correctly, there will be a manifestation of disease symptoms in the physical body.
At the time a baby is born, there are 4 energy bodies present. If some portion of the energy body did not develop properly or is missing, the baby will not survive. These first 4 are responsible for control of physical functions of the body; the functions that are automatic and not controlled by thought such as the heart beating, respiration, digestion, eliminating, all the things a new born baby can do.
As the baby grows and develops, other energy bodies form and develop. At the age of 12 there are a total of 10 bodies. Each of these energy structures controls physical and emotional functions that have developed according to the experiences of the individual during those first 12 years of life. The experiences and memories a soul brings from other lifetimes will have influence as well.
Have you ever seen those little Russian nesting dolls, where one doll fits inside another and another? Imagine that as an example of these energy bodies surrounding the physical body. Four are internal, 6 are external and comprise what we see in the aura.
The first 4 are responsible for the physical functions of the body.
The fifth one crosses the skin barrier and carries information influenced by genetic expression. That is why inherited characteristics often show up as chronic skin problems. The Sixth through the tenth energy bodies are the ones that separate us from other animals.
All animals have the first 4 or 5 depending on the species. That’s why your pet can talk to you. Domesticated animals have learned to pattern energy bodies after us and that’s how we relate. A wild animal cannot and will not ever become tame no matter what we may try to do because they do not have the ability to pattern their energy bodies to mesh with human energy bodies.
The sixth energy body forms between the second and third year, during that terrible 2’s period, and guides us into socialization and our place in society.
The seventh one forms between the fourth and fifth year, when we begin school, and governs the ability of the individual to acquire knowledge.
The eighth, between the sixth and seventh years of life, is responsible for perceptual comprehension and the ability of the individual to form thought patterns that influence learning. This is the time at which the ability to calculate math is developed.
The ninth energy body is in place by the tenth year and helps us socialize and read other people. This is usually the time the individual meets their first best friend—the one they keep for the rest of their life.
The tenth, in place by the 12style="letter-spacing: 0px;"> year, governs the development of independent thought and extra-sensory-perception. Each individual has all 10, but how they develop is influenced by genetic impulses, social orientation and the experiences of the individual.
Potency Interaction on Energy Body Structures
The homeopathic potentizing process (dilution and succession) converts the molecules of a substance to energy. The number of times the potentizing process is carried out determines the level of energy present in the activated remedy. The level of energy in the remedy will determine where in the energy bodies the remedy will have the greatest impact.
The 6th potencies work best for physical based problems or problems originating from childhood. This is true because the 6th potencies impact the first 4 internal energy bodies most directly. For example, Arnica montana 6X taken for a month will actually begin its action in the inner most vital force of the individual, and over the course of a month, work out physical trauma that is old or even stemming from childhood. The 6th potency is also best for mineral absorption problems, which are very physical in nature.
The 30th potency remedies work best for the holistic constitutional approach to problems because the 30th potencies impact the 5th energy body most directly. This is the energy body that carries the influence from inherited genetic material. It is the 5th energy body where you will find the expression of inherited miasm most. Skin symptoms in inherited miasm are most prominent because the 5th energy crosses the skin barrier.
The 200th potencies impact what is acquired by recent illness or injury. Recent illness such as the flu, or recently occurring injuries will begin from the outside of the energy bodies and penetrate inward. The 200th potency of Arnica montana in the case of injury, or Arsenicium album in the case of the flu, will stop the progress of these outside influences from penetrating further into the energy bodies and the physical body. In the case of emotional trauma or grief, Ignatia amara in a 200th potency given in one dose can help the individual handle the grief situation with a clear mind and forestall any of the physical symptoms that often follow high levels of emotional injury.
The 1M and 10M (1,000 and 10,000th) remedies impact the outermost energy bodies and the function of mind most. I have identified a number of 1M and 10M remedies that can change brain and mind function and influence the thinking ability of the individual. For example, Argentum nit. 10M and Avena sativa 10M help to expand the attention span of the individual and relieve the symptoms of ADD. Natrum mur. in a single 10M dose helps the brain to process new information more efficiently.
The 1M and 10M remedies used for mental enhancement are taken in a single dose and not repeated for several months. After the single dose, the energy body will begin to make changes in the physical function of the mind. These changes can take a few weeks and should not be interrupted by an additional dose of the same remedy. However, it is possible to continue taking single doses of other mental enhancement remedies. Silicea 10M corrects the wobbling of wishy-washy thinking. Coffea cruda 10M increases the ability to concentrate, similar to the feeling experienced after your morning coffee, but on a permanent basis.
When remedies are taken according to the energy body model, success is surprisingly consistent.
