Small ovals or islands on the lines and mounts of the hands generally are regarded as a defect. “This sign is one which has been misunderstood and improperly handled by many palmists,” writes William Benham in his book, The Laws of Scientific Hand-Reading. The island itself is not a single sign but is created by the splitting of the main, or major, line and a return of the split back to the major line.

To some extent everyone has an artistic capability, even if it is only the ability to appreciate art, whether it is painting, drawing, poetry, music or dance. Signs of the artistic temperament can be found in the hands of every individual. But there are some uniquely telling indications in the palm and fingers, mounts and shapes of the hands that reflect the artistic character.

The palmist Cheiro broke down the art and science of hand reading into two categories. Cheirognomy, he wrote, is the art of reading character through the shapes of the hands and fingers. Cheiromancy is the art of reading the lines in the palm of the hand.

Water has a “Spirit” which responds to respect.

We have all the water there is...No one is making any more of it. Each day there are more people drinking, using, and polluting it. This is a trend that cannot continue.

However, based on our experiences with water since April of 2001, I would like to share with you some things we have learned that will allow you to make a positive difference in the future of our Earth. Water has a “Spirit” which responds to respect. Lack of respect and greed seem to be the main reason that water has been polluted. We might also add ignorance, because if people really understood the importance of water, they would treat it with more respect.

After my reading was complete I asked the palmist if I might read her hands.
