About the Author

Untangling family interconnected issues in a horoscope is a long and complicated task. Lynn Bell has created a text that makes it easier and more understandable for the astrologer. This is not a lay-person's astrology book. It is for serious astrologers. I've been using astrology both personally and professionally since I was twelve years old and learned a "thing or two" from Lynn's well-written and fascinating book. I'm sure I will use what I've learned in my astrology work from now on.

The Mexicas understood that both movement and creation occur in every single moment and realized that everything followed the same order and was created in exactly the same way.
They observed how the day took part in the four principal movements (the lunar cycle, the years, the Venus cycles and the stars and planets’ cycles), and were even able to calculate with absolute accuracy the major cycles of the universe, and their effect on human behaviour.
They laid two snakes around the calendar, i.e. a rattlesnake and a red snake, to signify respectively the precession movement of the Earth’s equinoxes–made up of four cycles, each lasting 6,625 years–and the revolution of our Sun around the Pleiades. As previously mentioned, they named these movements ‘Suns’ and noticed that they followed the same sequence of both the four ‘essences’, the Tezcatlipocas, and of the elements; they recounted in detail the ‘chronicle’ of the previous Suns and forecast the future Suns, describing what they would look like.
The Mexica calendar was carved in stone during the Fifth Sun and contains detailed information on the last five Suns. As a cyclical calendar, however, it also provides information regarding the coming Suns, in accordance with the method clearly handed down in the oral tradition.

Editor's Notes: Although I am not one personally to be attracted to "divination" cards like Angel cards, and such, I have to admit that these are amazingly beautiful. The artist and author has put a lot of thought into them and I'm sure that they will be prized by people who are drawn to inspirational messages to help them through life's challenges. The only thing I think is missing to complete the lovely package is the instruction book's look. It needs to be better quality. It has a black and white cover and the paper just seems like someone ran it off on a home printer. In contrast, the cards are beautiful, slick, and have a high quality feel to them.
