There are so many things in this life that need to be taught and as a human being or a child or even as an adult or as a parent, how do you find your core sense of self? How is it that you are happy with yourself no matter what is going on around you? so in other words, how do you practice the art of staying centered amidst all the distraction? How do you find your center amidst all the distractions that life has to offer you?
Most people think of themselves as having a free will because we as people identify with the things we do, think and feel. “I” thought this or “I” did that. And we often think that “I” had a choice to do something else. “I” could have skipped that dinner with my friends or “I” could have decided not to go on vacation on that particular weekend. We are used to believe that we have control over our lives and that we are separate identities who can rule our own destinies.
In this article I will argue that we are not as free as we think we are, and also I will argue that by giving up the free will and surrendering to a force bigger than us, we can bring about greater peace and love in our lives.
Publisher's Description: Shamanism is the oldest living path of spirituality and healing, dating back tens of thousands of years, yet many people don't know what it is or are confused about the practice. In The Hollow Bone, shaman, teacher, and author Colleen Deatsman unveils the mysterious world of Shamanism as it is still practiced today all around the world.
Deatsman explains that shamanism is not a religion with a doctrine, dogma, or holy book. Rather, it is a spirituality rooted in the idea that all matter has consciousness and that accessing the spirit in all things is part of what keeps the world in balance and individuals healed and whole.
The Hollow Bone examines shamanism's history, its core beliefs, and how it is practiced all around the world. It includes a glossary of terms, resources for finding and working with shamanic teachers, and over two dozen rare photographs and illustrations showing the magnificent range of shamanic tools, rituals, practitioners, and traditions.
Of all the “New Age” practices, healing is undoubtedly one of the most sought after. I often wondered why that was. After much research, I came to the conclusion that sometime after 1950, there was a growing disillusionment with “traditional” medicine. Because of a complicated set of rising circumstances, the face of medicine and patient care was rapidly changing and becoming more institutionalized. Specialization became more prevalent and medicine became more complicated to practice.
Okay, okay, so I'm reviewing my husband's CD/MP3. So chase me out of town with torches and pitchforks. It might not be kosher for an editor to sing the praises of her husband's talents, but I'm breaking the rules. Allen's music is so special, so magical, and so transformative, I'm shouting it from the mountain tops. It's not just my opinion. Everyone who has listened to him sing or his transformational, healing CDs are wowed. That's one of the reasons I married him. He is amazing and he doesn't have a clue about it.
Wynn Free, Terry Brown and the Elohim (who, historically were the creators of the physical universe)
Beginning in 2002, while I was in the midst of writing The Reincarnation of Edgar Cayce with David Wilcock, a series of mind blowing episodes began in my life, where a Source which identified itself as the Council of Elohim commenced a communication through 2 consecutive personal relationships and invited me to ask questions. This article is an excerpt from a free online book - The Creator Gods of the Physical Universe want to talk to you available at www.creatorgodbook.com. There's a lot of deep cellular evolutionary triggers in these dialogs. I asked a series of questions concerning the creation of the physical universe. I think you'll find it interesting. Terry Brown was the channel and I've included a picture below. If you didn't read Part One last month, you might go back and read it (http://www.themessenger.info/content/home/item/1700-how-the-physical-universe-was-created) before reading Part Two. This is pretty deep stuff. You might try reading it more than once:
