Complete Instructions on the Preliminary Practice
Publisher's Description:
The foundations of Vajrayana practice are laid out with eloquence and precision here by one of the greatest Tibetan Buddhist masters of our age. His Holiness Dudjom Rinpoche’s commentary on the preliminary practices (ngöndro) is informed by his profound realization and wide-ranging scholarship, and illuminated with an array of quotations from the Vinaya, Sutra, and Tantra traditions.
In addition to the commentary on the outer and inner preliminary practices, he provides other invaluable instructions on the correct view, conduct, and activity of a practitioner. Dudjom Rinpoche taught that the realization of the teachings of the Great Perfection depends entirely on the practice of these preliminary practices, thus his compassionate exposition of them here makes this book a particularly precious resource for anyone who seeks to remove the obstacles between themselves and the total freedom of enlightenment.

I am sitting in my study watching with fascination the large flakes of snow falling outside the window. The temperature is way below freezing and I am literally ‘California dreaming’! I recall those years I lived in Los Angeles and loved to stroll along the beach in the sunshine on February days! Here I am however, back home in chilly England and although I love the view I have of frosted trees and snow capped hills I am more than happy to stay indoors. I was suddenly reminded of an incident experienced by my nephew one cold winter it is a story I would like to share with you
In February a few years ago, a nephew of mine had a climbing holiday in the beautiful mountains of Snowdonia North Wales. This is a challenging and popular area for UK climbers and indeed for visitors from all over the globe. It had been a long day and the weather was turning nasty when my nephew and his companions decided it was time to head for home. Easier said than done, for the snow began to fall heavily and quickly visibility was down to almost zero.
One of the climbing party remembered vaguely that he had been told of a hut somewhere in the vicinity. It was he thought, high on the mountain enabling climbers to shelter in adverse weather conditions It did appear to be a remote possibility but never the less the group decided it was their only option. Struggling optimistically up the mountain even higher, they had no idea where this hut might be located. Suddenly to their disbelief and huge relief, ahead of the party appeared a feint light. Excitement mounted as they wondered if in fact this could be a light from the shelter. As they slowly made their way upwards the light grew brighter and so with great cheerfulness they pressed on. Soon the welcoming shape of a mountain hut appeared, light streaming through the windows onto the snow.

Have you ever had a synchronicity? That's when a set of circumstances comes together that looks like a coincidence, but the probabilities of it being just a coincidence seem impossible. I've had synchronicities all my life and when I was younger, I used to think it was an intervention of God, bringing something into my life that was "meant to be."
If you've been reading my articles, you'll be aware that for the past ten years, I've been communicating with interdimensional sources who have identified themselves as the Elohim. They've made the claim that they were the Creators of the physical universe so I decided that perhaps they could explain this mysterious phenonomena of synchronicity.
