Natural energizers have great advantages over chemical stimulants. They are supporting, rather than depleting--strong or gentle, as needed. Natural energizers have great advantages over chemical stimulants. They are supporting, rather than depleting--strong or gentle, as needed.

1. Quick Fix Energy Boosters
• If your energy drops mid-afternoon, take a green drink. High chlorophyll superfoods like alfalfa, wheat grass, and spirulina transport more oxygen to the cells for better brain activity and energy.

Deep breathing is a proven method of achieving complete relaxation.

As I contemplate writing this article, I find myself singing "Breathe" by Faith Hill. JUST BREATHE - What a concept! Breathing is a function of the subconscious mind. If you are alive, you are breathing. We don't have to think about it, it just happens. As we go through life our breath changes with our actions and the state of our minds. Breathing can change due to environmental issues, exercise, sleep, anxiety, panic, stress, laughter, meditation, yoga, relaxation and many other factors.

Have you ever found yourself distracted in a situation in which you needed to be focused? An ability to focus and be highly productive is one of the greatest benefits I can attribute to a consistent practice of expressive meditation techniques.

The point of the expressive techniques is to dump out our stress and inner turmoil into a meditation technique instead of taking it out on others or ourselves. These techniques allow us to transform our anger, grief and fear into creativity, inner peace and wisdom. The Gibberish meditation, created by the Sufi mystic Jabbar, is a good example.
shinzenyoungEating meditation is an example of spiritual purification through experiencing pleasure with mindfulness and equanimity.

The Path

If anybody asks you
what the Path is about,

Transformation
of humanity
through
transformation
of the individual.

The power of the creative imagination needs to be taken seriously by the novice as a healing tool. It may not even be fully explored by those who use it in their daily lives. There are many kinds of guided meditation. We're going to focus on self-guided meditation for the beginner.
