If we choose to act in line with the operation of the universal laws, it will go easier, will be more in tune with who we really are and more in harmony with the greater whole. This choice is hard to make though, if we don’t know those principles. For that reason the rediscovery of the working of these principles seems to be of extreme importance. In this time of great changes and global unbalance a growing number of people begin to feel the need for a clear and well-founded insight into the universal laws, because this gives an understanding of what is needed to restore the balance and harmony in ourselves as well as worldwide.
Because the nature of these principles is universal, they apply to all aspects of our individual and social life. Therefore they can be used as a frame of reference for all personal and social transformations which aim at a greater harmony within ourselves and with the greater whole.
About the Author:
Marja de Vries (1954) studied biology and ecology and worked as a fabric artist. Wanting to find out how we as human beings can live in harmony with nature, she visited several native cultures and developed her intuition. She obtained her insights in the non-physical reality mainly through trainings based on native American traditions as well as through personal direct experiences.
Recently she focuses on new ways of learning and education that are more in line with who we really are. For this purpose she looked for fundamental principles with general applicability that could be used as a new foundation and a frame of reference. As a result of this search she wrote "The Whole Elephant Revealed" about universal laws. Since the publication of this book in Dutch in 2007 she is an often asked for speaker.
Besides she is now writing a book about "Societies in Balance", meaning societies where insights into the universal laws are an inherent aspect of the culture. For more information about the author visit her website at www.marjadevries.nl
I love books that combine science and universal, esoteric principles. The book is well researched, clearly written, and beautifully addresses the connections between ancient traditions and science. A really good read.
