De-mystify modern shamanism as we undertake an alchemical healing and transformational journey of sacred self-discovery. Julie Dollman shares her own experiences as she embarks on a difficult, challenging and wondrous journey into the world of shamanism, emerging with some amazing and simple tools, a sense of belonging and most importantly, a wondrous connection to the natural world that we all live in. Living Shamanism will appeal to those who are looking for an alternate way to tackle day-to-day issues they are experiencing and to those that are seriously considering a lifestyle change.
About the Author:
Julie Dollman is a Shamanic Healer who trained and graduated with the Four Winds Society back in 2005. She now works as a full-time shamanic practitioner in rural Ireland and has done so since leaving full-time work as a crime analyst in England in 2006.
Editor's Notes:
With the word Shamanism or Shaman floating around the New Age community and sticking to nearly every practice like burrs to shoes in an open field, it is good to read this book that addresses true shamanism and Julie's journey through it. It is clearly written and demystifies much of the mystique surrounding shamanism.

The Fourth Way to Consciousness
G.I. Gurdjieff
Publisher's Description:
Are we able to say that life is governed by a group of conscious people? Where are they? Who are they? We see exactly the opposite: that life is governed by those who are the least conscious, by those who are most asleep.
Provocative ideas such as these have attracted generations of thoughtful people to the methods of self-study and inner work devised by Gurdjieff, one of the most radical spiritual teachers of modern times. According to Gurdjieff, the wars raging at this very moment are nothing more than millions of sleeping people trying to annihilate millions of other sleeping people. Contrary to popular belief, there is no such as thing as progress and evolution as long as humanity remains asleep.
Two hundred conscious people could change the whole of life on the earth, Gurdjieff says. If we want to become those conscious people, we must learn how to change ourselves. With the help of self-knowledge and an understanding of our relation to the universe, we can awaken to a higher level of being—if we wish to change ourselves.

Molly Dillon--
Author of Margo--
Publisher's Description:
This book offers 365 days of inspired thoughts gained while sitting on my front porch or in my humble sanctuary?and, even sometimes, from under the umbrella of my favorite sidewalk cafe. At age 76, I have been privileged to lead many lives and taken numerous spiritual paths. I am not one to put a name to my beliefs; I simply sit and open up to the Universe, waiting in silence to gain insights and ideas. Like the Dalai Lama, I merely want to come from love. Is there another place from which any of us can truly emerge? I think not.
For you, my readers, I want this book to be a daily sample of spiritual nectar. I ask that you sip from this bound bird feeder like the red-throated hummingbirds do from the glass feeder on my front porch.
When referring to God, I often call Him/Her by different names. I love thinking of God as the Beloved, but at other times I might picture Him as the Divine, or maybe, Her, as Infinite Love. I also refer to God in both the masculine and feminine gender. I remember, as a child, we had a minister in our church who always ended the service with this benediction, "May the Mother love of the Father God go with you." Isn't that beautiful? Where my naming of God does not resonate with you, please substitute your own name for Him/Her?one that better suits your own spiritual path.
