Constant Craving is a one-of-kind book that will give you the emotional, physical, and spiritual tools you need to make friends with food . . . and your appetite!
Editor's Thoughts:
Boy, did I feel foolish. I didn't know Doreen Virtue wrote about anything but angels. She is considered by her followers, to be the guru of angels. Now I find she is also wrote this little gem, and it is in its 6th edition. Well, I guess that teaches me to assume. I have read some of Doreen's angel books in the line of duty. Angels aren't really my thing although I appreciate that they may actually exist.
Constant Craving is a very good book on how our emotions are tied to our food cravings, and not just in general; she gets very specific. i.e. tension and stress cause carbohydrate cravings. I used to be a sugar addict, then I had to go on a strict meat and vegetable diet for 6 months. Afterwards, I no longer crave sugar, In fact I can take it or leave it. I did recognize many people I know and the explanations for their cravings do fit them. I would say that this book is not the ultimate in scientific research, but it is a good primer for finding out why you crave certain foods and how to change.
