The Parapsychology Association of Riverside, Inc. (PAR) was founded in 1971 by Hazel Denning, PhD. Dr. Denning, with a group of like-minded, visionary friends formed an organization to research and learn about the field of parapsychology and spirituality. 

Since then PAR has grown and changed as the science has discovered more that confirms life beyond the physical and mind beyond the brain. 

Our goal is to offer educational opportunities to everyone interested in the fields of metaphysics, spirituality, and the paranormal. We strive to assist in the development of practitioners in a variety of alternative fields. 

Our history reflects the ongoing research in all areas related to parapsychology, spirituality, metaphysics, and the paranormal. 

We offer lectures, classes, workshops and events to foster the fellowship of like-minded people.
