All things are made of pure, vibrating energy. By connecting these energies in flowing and harmonious ways, we can create a much better and more fulfilling life for ourselves and those around us. If all things are energy, then the first thing we need to take care of is ourselves! We do this by nurturing the body, the mind, and the spirit.

The body needs many thing but the two “must haves” are live food and exercise. Our bodies are wonderful energy machines and they must have the proper fuel. Food has a direct impact on our vibrational energy and all disease is a direct result of a lowering of our vibrational energy. Most of the American diet is made up of fast food, sugars, over-processed foods, non-live foods with no live enzymes. Our bodies needs live enzymes in order to process and utilize the nutrients of the food. Whenever possible, eat organic or grow your own. I will be doing a monthly talk on easy ways to get live foods in your diet at Kindred Spirits, see their ad for dates and times.

The second thing our bodies must have is exercise! The key to fighting disease and infections is a healthy lymph system. Our lymph glands bathe our organs, tissues, and muscles with a powerful fluid that fights off pathogens which break down our immune system and cause disease and fatigue. Vigorous exercise like jumping on a rebounder stimulates the lymph glands to produce more of that precious fluid to protect our immune system. This is most likely the reason that most active kids are healthier than the parents.

70% of our body’s lymph glands are embedded in our intestines! There are more neurotransmitters in the intestinal tract than in the brain! Keeping the intestines healthy and the lymph system strong is paramount to maintaining good health and vitality.

The mind also needs healthy stimuli. You must create a live and nurturing environment around you. Do some good “Feng Shui” tricks that give the mind positive, nurturing, and joyful pictures to leave their imprints on the mind. Live, life-giving plants brighten and oxygenate the home or workplace. Joyful colors raise the vibration of the energy in your mind and body by stimulating the eye cells to vibrate at that new level and thereby shifting feelings or moods. Create soothing sounds with fountains, pleasant music and fill your home with wonderful, gentle scents. Creating a harmonious environment helps to restore and regenerate you both physically and emotionally.

The mind also needs the energy of positive thinking. Don’t listen to turbulent news early in the morning or late in the evening. These are the most suggestible times of day for you and can create anxiety and stress. Read, listen, or say positive and motivating things all day, but especially at these times of day.

Lastly, you must feed your spirit. For 10 minutes or more each day get in touch with your God Source and connect It to the piece of God within You! It is now being recognized even in scientific circles, that cells have intelligence. How wonderful then, to take a few precious minutes each day to remember Who YOU really are––a beautiful piece of God. A very simple way to do this is to sit quietly in a comfortable position. Take in a deep breath (fill the lungs down to the bottom––men take an extra breath to fill the chest) and hold that breath for 7 seconds. Then gently exhale. Release all negativity and stress as you exhale and send it to God’s light to be transmuted into positive energy for the universe (remember––energy never dies). Keep up this breathing pattern and inhale in positive, healing energy and exhaling the negative and transmuting it. Take the time now to talk to your cells! They are waiting for you to tell them what to do. Be sure what they hear is what you really want to happen! If you always say “I have bad luck,” that is what they will strive to create! Remember what Deepak Chopra says: “Thoughts are Things!” Make sure the “things” you create are Good things!!!

All of these things create energy vibrations in you and around you. The key is in learning how to integrate them all in our everyday lives.
