When we consider relationships, it’s usually in conjunction with physical people. However, one of our most important relationships is with an astral being; our Spirit Guide. They’re our teachers, supporters, confidants, and of course, guides. We receive comfort, love and peace from them, although we may mistakenly attribute these feelings to a physical person.

Spirit Guides are very active in our lives. They’re responsible for arranging events, scheduling “accidents”, meetings, and help us manifest what we want or need in terms of karma in the physical. Situations are first planned in the astral, and the Guides work hard to make all aspects come together on time. This isn’t easy, because timing has to be absolute. The difficulty is that a fully astral being has to read and be cognizant of physical time. Time is very different in other dimensions, and yet Guides are responsible for synchronicity. That’s why we have a number of Guides working towards this purpose. Guides who have physical bodies can assist fully astral Guides in timing of events.

Various contracts exist between Spirit Guides and us. Although Guides have karma with us, they also have free will and the option to leave under certain circumstances. When we do positive things in life, we attract loving beings who in turn bring love into our lives. If we fall out of Grace and off the “staircase of life”, Guides can depart and not return. Excessive drug and alcohol usage, murder, greed, abuse of power, people and animals, and deliberately harming another for your own gain can cause one to fall off the stairs. Guides back away and may choose to leave temporarily or permanently. However, when this occurs, we’re not abandoned completely. Angels that work for the Oversoul of the Universe check on us. Oversouls inform individual Guides of their person’s circumstances and progress. We’re able to bring our Guides back through prayer and venues such as AA meetings. They return when our lives straighten out, and then, circumstances magically turn around for the better.

We arrange our connection to our Spirit Guide on the other side. Sometimes the fidelity of the Guide is based on what we agreed to in this life. We can contract with “rainy day” Guides who support us through major challenges, or “fair weather” Guides who leave when the going gets rough. Many factors, including past lives, contribute to choosing a Guide.

Did you know that we can attend astral classes and workshops to support what we’re learning in the physical? This is great news for students! We can even have counseling in the dreamstate to work on our issues. Our Guides arrange this based on our request. We have to ask for what we want! We can request healing for our physical bodies as well. I ask the Spirit Guides of clients who are experiencing health challenges to arrange for astral doctors and healers to work with them. Different levels of beings do different types of healing. It depends on what you ask for, or what you’ve earned in terms of mastery. Spirit Guides play a vital role in our lives, and they deserve acknowledgement, respect, love and appreciation.
