Healing from cancer...going to the root of the problem by Nicole Scheier

Until a few years ago, the topic of past lives seemed rather philosophical than real within the context of my life. Then, one day I got diagnosed with cancer of the cervix and everything changed. In the midst of all my emotional turmoil, I was aware that this illness was there to teach/tell me something, but what that was, I had no idea. I spent the next two weeks, the time before the scheduled appointment at the specialist’s, in deep prayer and mediation––hoping to find an answer. Being blessed with the gift of clairvoyance since early childhood, I soon started receiving very vivid images accompanied by very painful emotions.

I saw women in different time periods having one thing in common, they all experienced a traumatic event that was connected to the nature of their gender––their femininity. As I was watching these tapes, I physically felt the pain that was endured by these women. I had to witness a mother tragically loosing her daughter during a Native American massacre, a woman violently being raped during war times in a little French village, and a young girl being sold into prostitution by her parents. I felt the rage, the fear and the grief surging through my system, as more and more images flooded my mind. After a few days, I received the information that all of these images were part of my own soul’s unresolved issues. I was told that I had to learn to forgive myself and others and allow those old wounds to heal, so that they wouldn’t have to find ways of manifesting in my present life.

I chose to face these aspects of myself, realizing my deep seated fears of being a woman and my resistance towards ever becoming a mother again. I understood that I had suppressed these emotions, because I had been lacking the mental framework to resolve them. Therefore they had been able to manifest on the physical plane of my being. When I went back to the doctor to discuss a treatment plan, he was surprised to find no traces of cancer on my cervix. He assumed that his colleagues had made a mistake, but I know better, I thank God for letting me witness this miracle.

This event has taught me that addressing the root of the problem can heal symptoms rather quickly. I have been blessed to witness, on a number of occasions, the profound effect that past-life traumas can have on our present life. They are causing disturbances in the emotional, mental, spiritual and/or physical body, as well as any other area (romances/finances i.e.), of life, the soul continuously reminding us that we have to attend to our unfinished business n order to live a healthy, balanced life.

If you haven’t been able to find the answer to your problem(s) digging around in your present life, it might just be time to zoom out the camera and look at the bigger picture.
