While modern technology has given us many wonderful conveniences to improve the way we live, it also has given us new challenges in our pursuit of stress-free living. As if it isnt enough to keep up with the day to day stress of providing for a comfortable living and education for ourselves and our families, we are now having to find new ways to keep our homes and workplaces from adding even more stress to our emotional and physical bodies. Lets take a look at some things that can cause these extra stresses and find some ways to soften or eliminate them.
First of all, what is EMF stress?
Electromagnetic stress is metabolic disruption caused by electromagnetic interference. These fields can penetrate the tissues of the body and actually alter the electromagnetic functions of the body. Because these electromagnetic fields are invisible and can neither be smelled nor tasted, they often go unidentified as a serious cause of stress and illness. Too often we dismiss the possibility of the harm that these EMFs can produce because we cant see an immediate cause/effect relationship.
Electromagnetic stress affects our energy and vitality and can leave us unable to deal with the normal functions of daily living and life processessuch as detoxification, rejuvenation and regeneration functionswhich our body is designed to perform during the night. One of the problems we now face is that when we leave our bodies in one location (our beds) for many hours, we are exposing it to whatever EMFs are in that area, while our bodies are in a very vulnerable and unguarded position physically, emotionally, and psychically. Add this to the fact that we have most likely spent the earlier part of the day being bombarded by EMF pollution all around us, and it is no wonder that we are experiencing so many stress related diseases and disorders in epidemic proportions.

First, you must support your bodys energy system. Many devices have been developed to support the bodys natural defense mechanisms against stresses of all kinds. Some have even been specifically designed to combat electromagnetic stress. The right ones for you will depend on factors like your health, the kinds of EMF you are exposed to, and your budget. It may be beneficial to use more than one of the following devices:

Along with these solutions, I would also include a good water filter on your shower, since the skin is your largest body organ and absorbs almost 16oz of water during an average shower, and a good air filtering system which adds ozone to the air around you in addition to the negative ions and the air filtering capabilities. The condition of the area around where you sleep is very important to your bodys health and vitality. Be sure you move all electrical devices such as alarm clocks, radios, tape players, clock radios, dimmer switches, cassette players, etc. at least 2 to 3 feet away from your body. Turn electric blankets on 30 to 60 minutes and then unplug them before you go to bed. Using a HEPA vacuum cleaner actually cleans the air in addition to the floors and removes parasites from your carpet. Regular vacuums suck up the dirt but then just pulverize the rest of the dirt and parasites and spews the mixture invisibly back into the air for you to breathe into your lungs. A high-quality HEPA-certified vacuum cleaner is priceless to physical and psychological health and well-being.
