The fine art of dragon slaying is a forgotten skill of times past. But we now have the opportunity to perform a modern day execution of these fierce and cowardly demons that haunt the shadows of our being. What is it that inhibits you from being your very best self and expressing your highest and most excellent qualities? What fears are draining your energy and aborting your dreams? How do you uncoil the attic of your mind and retrieve forbidden aspirations?
Forgiving ourselves for harboring physical or emotional wounds requires nurturing and courage as we enter the dungeon of misplaced "could have beens". Perhaps you have never viewed the minds ability to shelter old wounds as protective and helpful, but know that you have always done the best you were able, even when wishing you were able to do otherwise. Do not waste precious time and energy clouding your thoughts with coulds and shoulds. It is time to dust and vacuum the cobwebs that prevent us from expressing as we want to be. It is entirely possible to make internal changes through outward safe, creative expressions. We can satisfy the whining of our souls by listening to the nagging cries that echo through the crevices of our minds. By employing our artistic abilities and giving birth to our own individual creative expressions, we can rejuvenate our spirits and exhume the dreamer who resonates within the core of our souls. As the artists of our lives, it is now time to use every capability we possess and proclaim our existence and slay the dragons.
I encourage you to go gently on your path, go not alone. Whatever higher power you believe inor want to believe inis the perfect companion on your journey to self-discovery. And if you still yearn for some motivating factor and are denying your own artistic capabilities, know that when you make the connection to Spirit, Spirit will move you! Be kind to yourself and know that dreams wont look the same and blessed be that they dont. We are all a little older, wiser and hopefully more respectful of the missed opportunities of times gone by. So let us assemble our wares and allow dreams to tenderly caress themselves into expression through and as our lives.
Sending Love, Light and Laughter,
