Choices are an everyday occurrence, ranging from the mundane to life-altering. In the midst of making a choice, we may forget that the decisions we make in life boils down to who we are inside. If we’re imbalanced in some way, all decisions will be off-balance. In a balanced perspective, if we’re coming from wholeness, we make available our achievements and gifts. Is your reality based on loving yourself, or are they creations based on emotional wounds or negative behavior patterns? Our karma from past lives is at the core of our decision making on a subconscious level. Our negative belief systems, fears and trauma keep us from taking risks, and obscures and blocks us from things we’ve attained from past lifetimes which are our spiritual heritage.

The motivation to heal yourself can affect your choices. Start by becoming the most healed person you can be. If you don’t want to make “wrong” choices that don’t truly resonate (with easy recognition), clear your negativity.  By this I mean the negative energy from your consciousness. This extends to all areas of life, including jobs, friends, and partners.  For instance, if you have a low sense of deservabilty or you’re lacking self-esteem and confidence, you won’t take risks. In order to accomplish something, it often entails taking some kind of risk. The best scenario is a risk for which you’re well prepared. That means you’ve done the research, and you’re also using intuition as part of the decision making process.

Frequently, life will place you in situations that if you don’t take a chance, the circumstances will resemble a whirlpool.  You may feel drained emotionally and energetically, and become irritable and angry. This is telling you something is definitely off-balance, to put it mildly. Life demands our growth on an ever-constant basis. Risk doing something different.  Take a well-calculated risk. Without that, life will put you in situations where you have to do something whether it is regarding finances, social standing, etc. Conditions will be barking at your heels to get you to change. Welcome change as a new higher level of growth.  Inherent in change is risk.  Start with something challenging that’s not negative, so it won’t be overwhelming. View it as an invitation to a new way of life.

Our Spirit Guides are constantly inviting us to step forward, but most of us resist because we’re fearful and close-minded.  We haven’t been taught anything about how to take well-educated risks. You can chance on the emotional level by making friends, or risk mentally by taking a new class.  Physically you can play a new sport, or in the spiritual arena, try new spiritual exercises. Don’t be afraid to risk passion and purpose in life. Leave your private hells of boredom, guilt, and shame. Do something different. Be willing to ask questions and ask for help.  If you don’t ask, you don’t receive. What’s important is what you do here, now, for your Soul’s growth.  Soul’s growth is the struggle of Soul to understand what it truly is, a divine spark of God. There are no shortcuts; the road must be traveled, the work must be done. The process is the path, the gift to yourself, and the actual payoff.
