The sages of all ages have pointed humans toward the evolutionary goal of awareness: God consciousness. Since life is a journey and there is no point of arrival, why has this been such a significant milepost along mankind’s path?

 The sages, both past and present, have claimed that life is not real, that behind the façade of form lies indwelling life. Indwelling life only uses form for the purpose of delving into the mystery of its own being.

 A true master knows that neither rationalization with the mind nor the five senses can reveal reality to us because they deal only with the illusion of form. Those who see only the form side of life are caught in separation consciousness—a world of mirrors of their own making. These people function from ego identification and are exclusive in their thoughts: This is good. That is bad. This is painful, therefore, it is bad. That is easy; therefore, it is the recommended route to take. These are examples of taking life at face value, of mistaking form for life.

 In contrast, when we make the leap from human to God consciousness, we function in harmony with the intent of the Infinite, which is inclusive in nature. An inclusive person is able to see behind appearances, hence, he accesses the indwelling life that some Native Americans refer to as “the Spirit that dwells in all things”.

 

 Exclusive vs Inclusive Viewpoint

 An exclusive person sees a problem. The inclusive person sees the same situation as a challenge designed by his or her Higher Self to extricate knowledge from previously unknown portions of beingness. The exclusive person sees the same experience happening over and over and feels victimized. Whereas, the inclusive person views the repetition as an alarm signaling that insights have been avoided, rather than extracted from these experiences.

 The exclusive person sees disease as needing to be “fixed”. The inclusive person sees it as a knock from indwelling life on the physical door of the patient’s body. It is urging that certain portions of life be brought into alignment with a larger perspective––disease is a constriction in the flow of energy due to incorrect perception or attitudes.

 The exclusive person sees painful experiences as undesirable and thinks if things were “meant to be”, it would be easy. The inclusive person welcomes the challenges, knowing it is futile to fight against that which he or she has carefully designed as the most effective way to evolve awareness.

How to increase your energy

 Increased perception yields increased energy. To understand this, we need to grasp the difference between emotions and feelings and shed clarity on the functions of the right and left brains.

 Feeling is a way to access information not accessible to reason. It bypasses the mind. Therefore, feeling is a non-cognitive way of getting information, which registers as an intuitive knowing. Feeling is the right brain accessing the unknown. It deals with things beyond the five senses and logic.

 Emotion, however, has as its foundation, desire. There are only four true emotions and all other emotions are combinations of these: 1. Joy is the desire to live 2. Fear is the desire to retreat 3. Anger is the desire to attack 4. Sadness is the desire to change.

 All initial energy goes to access left-brain and only surplus energy goes to access right brain. When we conserve energy through bringing order to the thoughts of left-brain, we can access right brain and it is the right brain that accesses the unknown, which is 11/12^ths of what can be known by man.

 Right-brain functions - The right brain accesses indwelling life’s purpose, behind form, through feeling. It is right brain’s task to receive symbols via meditation and dreaming, which is guidance from our Higher Selves as to where our next step of growth is. It also watches for signs and symbols in our environment, because the interconnectedness of life speaks to us through these.

 Left-brain functions - The left-brain is a tool for interpreting the feelings the right brain picks up. It is the left brain’s job to extract insights in the form of analysis from our experiences both past and present. (Our knee-jerk reactions reveal which areas of our life hold the untapped insights.)

 What drains most of the energy from left-brain is the maintenance of our illusions. The more illusions are dispelled by greater insights, the more energy is available to us because less is needed by the disorganized left-brain. This energy then allows the right brain to access indwelling life.

 As we use our left and right brains in their proper functions, the result is increased perception. This enables us to see beyond appearances, which is living inclusively. The increased power provides the extra energy needed to make huge leaps in consciousness.

 The Role of Man

If we imagine Creator and Creation as two halves of a figure eight, and the center point as a portal, man is located on one side of the portal and the I AM on the other. No other creations within the cosmos contain everything that the lightbodies of man do. These lightbodies are representative of the phases of light all the way down to matter that occur within creation. We are a culmination of all creation specifically designed to upload information into the Infinite through our experiences.

 That is why we have been placed where light (previously accessed information) meets the dark (previously unyielded information) in the densest levels of creation. For it is here that the only new knowledge within all of existence is gained. We have voluntarily taken on forgetfulness of our true identity, which is ‘a being as vast as the cosmos having a human experience’, so that we can relate. It is through our relationships that the greatest revelations about the mystery of beingness are unfolded.

 Each person on earth has been given the inventory within his life to achieve this state of God consciousness—the evolution of awareness would have it no other way. No one who embraces his challenges and gains the insights, can fail to achieve this blessed state, in which he is able to make the greatest contribution of all beings within the cosmos: to help shape the way existence unfolds.
